About Ditchling Wild Sauna

Nestled beneath Ditchling Beacon in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Ditchling Wild Sauna was created to offer a simple opportunity to slow down and experience traditional wood fired sauna in a unique setting

Surrounded by rolling hills, huge skies and uninterrupted views, our wood-fired sauna is a place to step away from the demands of everyday life. Our Summer evening sessions offer stunning light and sunsets, both of which can be enjoyed from the sauna itself or bathing in the cold plunge. Our Winter sessions offer dramatic weather rolling across the Downs.

Our sauna sessions combine traditional wood-fired heat with cold plunges, outdoor relaxation areas and complimentary herbal tea. Guests are invited to move between heat and cold at their own pace, taking time to relax, unwind and enjoy the unique setting beneath one of Sussex's most iconic landmarks.

Whether you're joining a shared session, booking a private sauna with friends, or booking an event with us, we hope you'll leave feeling calmer, refreshed and more connected to the world around you.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ditchling Wild Sauna.

Ditchling Wild Sauna, Beacon Road, Ditchling BN6 8XB

Directions -

We are accessed by car off of Beacon Road. From Ditchling Village you will see a black sign for Everflyht vineyard on your right and we are the next track on the left. There is a sign saying ‘Ditchling House Nurseries’.  From Brighton if you come over the Beacon, if you see Everflyht on your left, you have gone too far!!

Go to the end of the track and turn right - the gate is on your right and is made of fence panels with a sign saying Oakmill Barn - opposite some fancy electric gates.

If arriving solely on foot we can be accessed via the extensive footpath/ bridleway network taking you right to our gate (no need to walk along Beacon Road).
